Liverpool Victorian House
We absolutely love the end result of this project in south Liverpool. The customer wanted to make a statement in their grand entrance hall and after some time considering a Chevron or a Herringbone pattern we decided on installing a continuous Versailles weave.
Versailles pattern flooring originates from the palace of Versailles in France and the intricate style is certainly fit for a palace. The flooring was installed over a 12mm plywood sub-floor and then finished on site with Rubio Monocoat oil to enhance the natural tones of the oak and bring out the grain.
