We recently completed a beautiful installation of Harris Hardwood shutters at a home in Buckley, North Wales, fitting a tracked shutter system over French doors along with two shutters over standard windows.
The shutters were finished in Pure White with 76mm louvres, creating a clean, timeless look that complements both modern and traditional interiors. The larger louvres allow more natural light to flow into the room when open, while still offering excellent privacy and light control when closed.
For the French doors, we installed a tracked shutter system, which is an ideal solution for wider openings and frequently used doors. Tracked shutters glide smoothly across the opening, making them practical for everyday access while still providing full coverage, insulation, and a premium finish. They’re a great alternative to curtains or blinds, offering a more streamlined, space-saving and durable solution.
The standard window shutters were custom-made to perfectly fit the existing window openings, enhancing both the appearance and functionality of the space.
