Today we completed a full home comfort installation in North Wales, helping our customer enjoy a cooler, more comfortable and completely bug-free home throughout the warmer months.
This project combined several of our most popular products to create the ultimate summer solution — professional fly screens paired with heat-reducing roof sails for both the conservatory and the main house.
Legacy Door Fly Screen Installation
As part of the installation, we fitted a premium Legacy retractable door fly screen to one of the main door openings. This type of screen is ideal for homeowners who want to enjoy fresh air without worrying about insects entering the property.
The retractable design means the screen neatly slides away when not in use, while remaining smooth and easy to operate every day. It’s a practical and discreet solution for patio doors, French doors and frequently used openings.
Our customer wanted to leave doors open during warmer weather without attracting flies, bees and midges into the home, and the Legacy system was the perfect fit.
Four Bespoke Window Fly Screens
Alongside the door screen, we also installed four custom-made window fly screens throughout the property.
These screens allow the windows to remain open for ventilation while preventing insects from entering the home. They are especially useful during the summer months when homeowners want to cool their home naturally rather than relying on fans or air conditioning.
Each screen was made to measure for a precise fit and professionally installed to blend neatly with the existing windows.
InShade Roof Sails for Heat Reduction
To help reduce heat and glare, we also fitted InShade roof sails to both the conservatory and areas of the main house.
InShade roof sails are an excellent way to make rooms with large amounts of glazing far more comfortable during warmer weather. They help reduce excessive heat build-up and glare while still allowing natural light into the room.
The customer’s conservatory will now remain significantly cooler and more enjoyable to use throughout the summer months.
