We recently completed the installation of three Silk White Harris hardwood shutters at a property in Stoke-on-Trent for a returning customer who has trusted us with their home before.
The shutters were finished in a soft Silk White, a popular choice that works beautifully with both modern and traditional interiors. Manufactured from Harris hardwood, they offer excellent durability, stability and a premium painted finish that will stand the test of time.
One of the key challenges on this installation was dealing with uneven areas at the top of the window recesses. Rather than leaving visible gaps, we designed and fitted matching top battens to neatly conceal these areas. This extra detail ensures the shutters look clean, well-proportioned and fully integrated into the room, rather than appearing like an add-on.
